そのうち、自然系世界遺産５カ所

Sangha Trinational (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo,);
Chengjiang Fossil Site (China);
Western Ghats (India);
Lena Pillars Nature Park (Russian Federation).
自然と文化の複合世界遺産は
南国の親日国パラオで初の世界遺産登録で書いたパラオの１件のみ
Rock Islands Southern Lagoon (Palau)
そして残りの２０カ所が文化系世界遺産となっています。
